Botanical perfume has a magic to it that simply can’t be replicated in a laboratory. Real plant oils and essences are intense, complex and ephemeral, interacting in unique ways with the chemistry of our own bodies to create an evolving, intimate experience. Botanical perfume is alive.
I’m constantly experimenting with ways to deepen and extend the experience of wearing botanical fragrance, and I’m delighted to introduce these curated pairings of our perfumes and our butters to offer you a more immersive scent experience.
Botanical scent tends to last longer on well moisturized skin, so pairing and layering a botanical perfume with its complimentary nourishing butter is the perfect way to extend the life of your scent, while also ensuring that skin stays hydrated, particularly going into the cooler months ahead here in the northern hemisphere.
This pairing features our botanical perfume no. 2 + our orange blossom butter.
Exuberant top notes of fresh ginger and citrus lead into a pairing that highlights the exquisite beauty of white flowers, with the bright florality of neroli and ylang ylang in the butter mingling with the intensity of the tuberose in the perfume. As the pairing evolves, the luxurious richness of the coconut pulp essence in the butter blends beautifully with the ambrette seed, a botanical musk, and the sandalwood of the perfume. A perfect combination to lift the spirits as the days grow shorter.

Natural fragrances bloom and evolve upon contact with the warmth of the skin. The base of organic jojoba oil feels like nectar and nourishes the skin wherever it is worn. This sample set arrives packed in a white glassine envelope, perfect for gifting, and each sample comes with a card describing the scent notes.

Perfume serum no. 2 is a voluptuous blend of tuberose, saffron and wild sweet orange, complemented by neroli, sandalwood and ginger, and supported by vanilla and a gentle dab of botanical musk. Rich and evocative, our no. 2 fragrance is inspired by dreams of palace gardens at dusk and the heady and magical scent in the souk where the flower-seller stands next to the spice merchant. The base of organic jojoba oil feels like nectar and nourishes the skin wherever it is worn.

Each glass roll-on bottle has a glass roller-ball and contains 5 grams or 10 grams of liquid botanical fragrance.
Each glass twist-top pot contains 5 grams of solid botanical fragrance in a local beeswax base.
Our botanical perfumes arrive carefully packaged in a cotton drawstring tassel bag with a beautiful letterpress tag and a card describing the fragrance notes of your chosen scent.
Choosing a fragrance is a highly personal matter! We recommend trying a small sample before committing to a full-sized perfume.
